Stuart Brooks, Managing Director of St Albans PR company, Blackbird, collected his third accolade last night at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Pride Awards for the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern region, which were held at Cambridge University.
Now in its 12th year, the CIPR #PRideAwards are recognised as the most credible UK-wide awards in the public relations industry. They recognise and celebrate outstanding campaigns, PR professionals and teams across 9 UK nations and regions.
Stuart has now won the award for Outstanding Independent Practitioner on three occasions, the previous two in 2010 and 2012. He launched Blackbird, a specialist B2B St Albans PR virtual agency, in 2009 and has worked with more than 40 companies, helping them to raise their profile.
The CIPR judges commented:
“Stuart’s entry demonstrated the excellent results he’d achieved and provided a detailed summary of a recent campaign, exemplifying his merit for this award. The campaign showed great dedication, creativity, original thinking and solid execution to deliver tangible business results for his client on a limited budget. Stuart’s professional commitment to the industry and his clients is evident and he clearly gets up each day loving what he does!”
